A book by Kazuo Ishiguro, author of The Remains of the Day. The book Never Let Me Go is gripping account of the lives of some English school friends and their pre-ordained fate. As a sometimes teacher of British Education this makes me look back anew on the changes in England’s schooling during the last third of the twentieth century via a story with a great big twist.
