This tome is the latest by a writer who has explored the evolution of morality and non-zero sum games in previous books. I find him highly readable, thorough in his referencing, and credible. His integration of the previous themes in The Evolution of God is a good way to see the breadth of their contemporary power. While Wright includes five chapters on Islam, he admittedly speaks from a Christian cultural background and urges Moslem writers to engage in a similar project: charting how we create and recreate God (god?).
